Grabbing a last minute shot
As we were heading back from the dinner and the bars I realized that I hadn’t really taken anything for today’s shot and I just happened to see this. When I first saw it I thought it would make a great HDR shot, but in the end that didn’t work out. Perhaps I still need to adjust/tweak my method of creating the HDR in PhotoMatix….all part of the learning process.
I will say that part of the reason that the HDR didn’t work out was that I had a few pints and I was trying to shoot a 5 bracketed shot from a crouched position. The main reason that it didn’t work was that the darks were so blown out once processed. Lesson to you all…
