Trying to get some closure
My best friend and his family were in town for the Memorial Service. It is always great when they come to visit because we get to spend time with our other “niece and nephew”. This was a nice break from the heavy thoughts about Joe and his family.
About this image
This is not the greatest image in the world and I can imagine that there will be quite a few mediocre images as I move through the next few days/weeks. I did like the innocence of this image…combined with the raw emotion expressed differently among each person. G-Man is all energy, Anna is quietly sitting smiling waiting for the others to get ready and Phil has a look of pain on his face as he is getting stepped on in all the wrong areas.
It was great to have them in town this week.
For those of you that really love food photography (and some kick ass recipes), you can check out Carolyn’s (not pictured here) blog at Care’s Kitchen. It’s awesome.
