Liberty National Golf Club has some amazing views of New York City, but this view of the Statue of Liberty is probably my favorite of any view on the course.  On this day, I was visiting one of my students during their internship.

Creating this Image

Unlike most of my other HDR images, this one was created from a single RAW file. The image was processed in Photomatix and then adjusted in Photoshop. The original file was layered under the HDR image and masks were used to adjust the saturation and colors of the native grasses as well as the Statue of Liberty. My only wish was that the sky offered something more.
